There are a number of businesses that we would like to express our gratitude. These are not only some great businesses in our community but they have stepped forward with donations/pledges to help raise money for this great cause.

Without these very generous folks I wouldn’t have a boat to sit in. (and what a boat it was)
SYSCO VICTORIA
As always this company takes care of us and jumps in whenever we call. With one of the largest cash donations as well as product donations galore, they were absolutely invaluable to this cause. (If you include all the amazing individuals that work for this company that opened their hearts and wallets, they are the top donator)
RE/MAX NANAIMO
This company is a “Miracle Company” all across Canada. This means every employee across Canada donates to the Children’s Hospital to the astounding sum of over $32 000 000.00. Even though they are constantly giving, the employees rallied and gathered an enormous amount of money. They have no business connection with us nor do they know the children…they are just wonderful people.
WEST MARINE
The staff and management were very kind and diligent in strong arming…I mean encouraging their customers to step up for the cause. We appreciate their smiling faces and help.
DINGHY DOCK PUB
The ownership of the Dinghy Dock Pub likes to stay out of the lime light. I however feel a need to give recognition because not only did the owners contribute the largest cash donation but also the facilities, product, prizes, resources, and allowed the Chef to step away from many regular duties for the better part of two weeks to arrange this event. Without their generosity none of this event would have been possible.
PRO PRINT
With out hesitation Andy designed and printed brochures and posters so we were able to let the world know about these great kids and their very large challenges. Not only did he do this, Andy did all this on the first couple days of his holidays.
DOGS EAR
Sarah and her staff at the custom shirt shop made me a fantastic shirt on a moments notice. As crazy as it sounds, that shirt aided me in raising over $900.00 of the proceeds.

MANY OF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE NAMED BUT YOUR EFFORTS WERE GREAT AND INDISPENSIBLE. DOING EVERYTHING FROM SELLING BALLOONS, PLAYING MUSIC, SELLING TICKETS OR STAYING AWAKE ALL NIGHT TO MAKE SURE THE “DINGHY” IN THE DINGHY WAS SAFE, FOR THESE REASONS WE LOVE YOU ALL.
ALL OF THESE SOURCES WERE CRUCIAL TO THE WORD GETTING OUT AND I APPRECIATE ALL THEY HAVE DONE.
